"General Hospital"- Betrayal, Lies & Revenge!

General Hospital has been overrun by criminals of all kinds--- psychotic ex's, international crime lords, reformed homicidal maniacs and those out for revenge!  I'd say it's a recipe for one hell of a Halloween bash!

Ever since Franco (Roger Howarth) found out Carly (Laura Wright) slept with Sonny (Maurice Benard), the gloves have come off and he's out for revenge, his heart broken!  He's planned a Halloween wedding to remember for Carly, who just learned it's to be on the Haunted Star and is not too thrilled at the prospect.  What I find interesting is that she seems to be a little afraid of Franco and what he might do to her should he learn of her infidelity, not to mention how it'll affect Michael. Unfortunately it's too late for that!  Unwilling to give up the charade or plans to marry the former stalker, she's in it for the long haul.  What will she do upon seeing mommy's return?  I love that Heather (Robin Mattson) is back and boy is she crazy as ever, proud of her son's plotting against her nemesis! Question is, will we finally see Franco spiral down to his murdering ways or is this just a huge reveal about Sonny killing AJ (ex-AJ, Sean Kanan)?  I hope it's the former rather than the latter.  I'm dying to see him return to his true self and I feel that Nina (Michelle Stafford) could help him do just that! The two of them are definitely meant for each other- she's scary psychotic in an unhinged way and he's morbidly artistic with a dose of macabre curiosity. What could be a better combination?  Plus, Roger Howarth would rock that
storyline!  I guess we'll have to wait to see if things will really unravel for Franco's psyche.  What will happen once his "brother" Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) reemerges? Will old obsessions bubble to the surface?

I find it amusing that so far Liz (Rebecca Herbst) and Carly, both of whom had very close bonds with Jason, have yet to realize who they've been talking to!  I'm also surprised that hearing all about Jason Morgan hasn't jogged his memory.  What will it take for him to regain his memories?  I think Danny is the answer, still unaware he's his father.

It's been a very long road as fans wait for the big "Fluke" reveal and looks like the explosive moment is coming soon!  Word is Anthony Geary is FINALLY back to work!  He began filming October 20, slated to hit our screens by Thanksgiving. I have to say I am very excited to hear he's returning! While I completely understand the delay, this storyline has been dragged on too long and needs to be finished.  Those of us still perplexed by the criminal's identity will be anxiously glued to the screen, ready for the outragous!  It'll be nice to see Tony back in our living rooms.  What I find interesting about this storyline is how the writers have been able to include most of the cast in this one story, which has been refreshing.  For years one of my pet-peeves was that there were so many mini-stories going on there was a lack of continuity and utilization of the entire cast, with some characters we might not see for weeks or months!  Ron Carlivati has definitely done us proud by creating two distinct storylines that roll into one- Jerome/Sonny/Fluke/Q's and Jason/Patrick/Sabrina/Carlos.  Both have different elements but are ultimately intertwined.  Seems like all the villains are working somewhat the together.

Not only will we see Fluke's return, but Faison (Anders Hove) is headed back to Port Charles as well!  Who doesn't love the Feuding Faisons?  I'm anxious to see exactly what Anna (Finola Hughes) and Robert (Tristan Rogers) did to him and although it appears Tristan will not be returning for this storyline, never say never!  I'm hoping he'll drop in for a scene or two.  Plus, what about Robin (Kimberly McCullough)? Last week we learned that Helena (Constance Towers) and Jerry Jax (Sebastian Roche) are conspiring to obtain controlling interest in ELQ in exchange for Luke, however, neither were aware that Michael (Chad Duell) had taken over.  Obviously they have the "real Luke" and apparently have no clue as to Fluke's existence, which I find odd since Helena is always very thorough with her plans.  We know Helena definitely has Robin and Luke, as well as knows all about Jason's memory loss.  How does he factor in and what is she planning to do with Robin?  Another round of  save my sons? My guess is Helena has joined forces with Faison, which they've done in the past.  But if this is the case, is he also working with Fluke?

And what about Ric (Rick Hearst) who had to fake his own death? Molly (Haley Pullos) thinks he's dead, his good name tarnished thanks to Julian Jerome and despite her attempts at a confession from him, doesn't believe for a minute that her father was in charge of the operation. Now that Tony Geary is back filming, it won't be long before Rick Hearst returns to the set.  How will he regain his life and is this the end of Julian? We know Theresa Castillo (Sabrina) is leaving the show and one more contract player is slated to make an exit as well.  I really hope it's not one of the Jerome's (aka) William DeVry (Julian Jerome) or Mara West (Ava Jerome) because they are two of my favorite actors on the show.  But let's face it- Julian has screwed up the operation so bad, I wouldn't be surprised if Fluke uncerimoniously takes him out! What about Ava?  Her initial purpose was to procure control of ELQ, which she failed miserably and then got herself knocked up with a Corinthos spawn.  How much longer will Fluke take the Jerome's incompetence?  I guess we'll have to wait and see how November sweeps unfold!

Word is another Jax (Ingo Rademacher) is headed back to Port Chuck for a short stint. That's right, Jerry's brother Jasper Jax will stroll back into town and my guess is Joslyn (Hannah Norberg) has something to do with it!  She hasn't been afraid to let Carly know exactly how she feels about her soon-to-be step-father, even going so far as to protest being a part of the wedding on Halloween!  But can anyone blame her?  Jax will return but I don't think our girl will get the parental reunion she's dreaming of.  Of course once Franco exposes Sonny as AJ's killer, Carly kicks him to the curb quicker than a bag of garbage! LOL Not only will it destroy Michael's relationship with Sonny, as well as Carly, but it'll change him in a way we haven't yet seen. Though Michael has taken over ELQ and, according to Ned has run it incredibly, he's kind of been in the background with little to do.  The character has lost any edge he had after surviving rape in prison and I'm hoping this will be a turning point to give Chad more layers to play with. Although he'll also learn that Morgan (Brian Criag) and Kiki (Kris Adlerson) have kept a few things from him about Ava, my guess is after his trust in Sonny is dissemated, he won't give them an inch!

Finally, what is going to be in store for Silas Clay (Michael Easton) now that all of Nina's secrets are out in the open? Will he try to win back Sam?  What happens when Sam (Kelly Monaco) realizes Jason is alive?  Liason fans are ecstatic seeing Liz tending to Jason as always, but I find it strange that with all of the things she's shared about Jason Morgan, he has yet to remember a single moment of his life.  It's clear that Liz definitely sees sparks of her former lover, but refuses to really take the plunge that this stranger is indeed Jason.  I'm waiting for Sam to walk into the room.  Will she spark his memory or will it take someone like Robin for the memories to flood back?  What about Monica (Leslie Charleson)?  It was such a sad scene last week as she spoke of her lost son.  I'm wondering which Jason will return-- Jason Quartermaine to give the Q's a much-needed boost or Jason Morgan, who has been sorely missed in the Corinthos organization.  Either way, all are going to be shocked and I can't wait to see Sonny and Jason bromance reunite!

November-to-Remember is gearing up and it looks like we're in for lots of incredible reveals, returns and exits in the coming month.  Don't miss a single moment of General Hospital, weekdays on ABC!
