In a press release, Paley Center for Media announced a special screening of BET's successful series "Being Mary Jane", set to return for season two February 3, 2015 at 10 p.m. In anticipation of the upcoming season, Paley Center will honor this incredible series in a special event Thursday, December 11 in Beverly Hills, which will include an exclusive behind the scenes look at the new season. In addition, a panel with Gabrielle Union and series' creator Mara Brock Akil will immediately follow the screening.
Tickets to general members will go on sale November 21, then to the public November 22. The event begins at 7:00 p.m. and the panel will be live streamed at paleycenter.org/live. In addition, Paley Center will be live-tweeting from the event via @PaleyCenter using #PaleyLive.
If you 're not familiar with this hit show, the series follows a young woman as she struggles to keep her career and personal life in balance.
