The 46th annual NAACP Awards is set to commence tonight, beginning with the red carpet arrivals at 8p/7c, with awards ceremony to follow at 9p/8c. The event will be broadcast live on TV One, with several of celebrities on tap to present the prestigious trophy. Anthony Anderson will host the star-studded ceremony from the Pacedena Civic Center Auditorium between 9-11p.

Star of the hit FOX television series
Sleepy Hollow, Nicole Beharie will join Will Smith, Russell Simmons, John Gaskin II, Keegan-Michael Key, Valeska Guiterrez, Taraji P. Henson, Mechad Brooks, Lamorne Morris and Tracee Ellis Ross, as second round presenters. Not only will Beharie be presenting, but she is also nominated for a NAACP Award for her work in
Sleepy Hollow in the "Outstanding Actress In a Drama" category. She's got tough competition with Kerry Washington (
Scandal), Gabriel Union (
Being Mary Jane), Octavia Spencer (
Red Band Society) and Viola Davis (
How to Get Away with Murder), in the same category. All the nominees are very talented, so it's going to be a close call as to who wins.
Cast members from
Orange is the New Black, black-ish, Grey's Anatomy, House of Cards and
How to Get Away with Murder are set to appear. Other celebrities include Taye Diggs, Quvenzhane Wallis, Niecy Nash, Gabrielle Union, Octavia Spencer, Omar Epps, Shemar Moore, Tess Thompson, Uzo Aduba and Wendy Raquel Robinson.
The NAACP will honor one individual as "Entertainer of the Year", a coveted award bestowed upon one who has achieved success in multiple projects within the entertainment industry. In addition, the NAACP will give Attorney General of the United States, Eric H. Holder, Jr. the "Chairman's Award" and prolific director Spike Lee will receive the "President's Award".
